What was it like taking This & That?   

Taking this class was very exciting for me!  It helped me grow as an artist.  I am more of a traditional, precise scrapbooker by nature. Kara's style of incorporating non-traditional elements with a more free style, super artistic feel has taught me a lot about how I can add even more of myself into my pages.  I learned how to use my own handwriting as well as add elements from around my home to make my pages all that more special and unique. 

Following her prompts was so fun and easy that all the pages I created using the prompts from This & That were the quickest ones I've ever made.....and also some of my most favorite!

    

What did you learn taking this class?   

One of the coolest things about This & That was how it helped me enjoy the process of scrapbooking even more than before. It gave me photoshoot and even prop ideas from some of the journaling prompts.  I learned how to capture something I do regularly and would never have thought to save as a memory.  Who knew that my mind would even go there in relation to scrapbooking?!?  It took me to a totally new level of artistic enjoyment.

Any person that is looking for inspiration or something new and exciting to try in their art journaling/scrapbooking would definitely benefit from this class.  Kara shares some of the most creative, fresh, and fun ideas to inspire.  There are a multitude of new techniques you will easily learn that you can combine with fun and sometimes even therapeutic journaling prompts.  And the coolest thing is, since there are so many different combinations you can really create a lot of art!

    

Kara is absolutely one of my favorite online art journal/scrapbook teachers!  Her instructions and photo examples are very thorough. I always learn something new and I don't ever feel like I need to go out and buy new art supplies in order to enjoy creating my pages.  Any day filled with Classes Kara Made is a good day.
